I’m Amr Singh, a director obsessed with storytelling, striking visuals, and making sure every frame has purpose.
My journey didn’t start in film school. I studied Social Anthropology at UCT, which, surprisingly, turned out to be the perfect foundation for crafting human stories with depth and authenticity.
Over the years, I’ve worked with some of the world’s biggest brands and agencies, directing everyone from Hollywood A-listers to everyday people with incredible stories. My work has picked up awards from LA to London, including honors from One Show, SHOTS YDA, a Van Gogh Award in Amsterdam, and a Gold Craft for Directing at Promax.
I love collaboration, problem-solving, and pushing the boundaries of what a commercial or film can be. Whether it’s high-energy, deeply cinematic, or a touch of the unexpected; my goal is always to make something unforgettable.
